This skid plate is intended to be installed with MTF front suspension systems only. It's purpose is to protect the oil pan against mild contact with road or road debris.
This skid plate is for use with Gen 3 Coyote engines.

The front mounting brackets attach to the bolts that retain the steering rack to the frame and the skid plate.
The rear brackets attach to the top hole of the engine mount stands and the skid plate.
The rear of the skid plate is the end with a notch in the center. The notch is for oil plug access.
Step one, remove steering rack mounting bolts. Install front mounting brackets to the 5/8" bolts retaining the steering rack. Install 1/4"x3/4" bolt to the opposite end of the front bracket into the mounting plate front side holes. Insert bolt from bottom up through skid plate then front bracket. Do not tighten bolts this will be covered later.
Step two, using the 5/16"x 1 1/4" bolt with washer install the straight slotted end of the rear bracket to inside of the top hole in the engine mount stand that is vertical. Insert bolt opposite engine into bracket. Install washer, lock washer and nut. Do not tighten bolts this will be covered later. The twisted end of the rear bracket will be assembled to the skid plate
Step three, adjust the skid plate at approximately 1/4" evenly from the bottom of the oil pan. Torque the 1/4" bolts to 75 inch pounds. Torque the 5/16" bolts to 132 inch pounds.
